We are in very trying times– not only from the isolation, fear and sickness that we have personally witnessed during the COVID epidemic, but from the intolerance, racism and injustice displayed in our country. Our nation is again faced with incidents that will test our humanity and resolve. We recognize that this type of atrocity and madness must stop, and that we must mobilize and spring into action to calmly and professionally address the issue of police brutality toward African Americans.
