NFBPA Legacy Honors Program Fund Initiative
“Moving forward by removing barriers in front of us and reaching back to pull others forward.”
The Legacy Honors Initiative pays tribute and celebrates African American leaders who have distinguished themselves with their contributions to public service, equality, freedom, and civil rights. The Legacy Honors Initiative has a required minimum entry level of $1,000, with members receiving annual recognition at FORUM for new achievement levels. By supporting NFBPA through this cumulative giving initiative, donors are investing in the long-term solvency of the National Forum for Black Public Administration and continued excellence in local communities across the country.
Our GOAL: To build NFBPA’s current corpus in the Endowment fund, which stands at $250,000 to a goal of $500,000 in two years, and moving towards $1M in 10 years. The Legacy levels are as follows.
Your Legacy gifts will be directed in the following way only:
- The Endowment, where donations will be held in perpetuity with earnings directed toward the NFBPA’s education or advocacy programs.
- The Annual Fund for the NFBPA ongoing operations.
- Any planned or outright gift may be made in honor or memory of a loved one.
