  • Leadership Summit 2018 - Call for Presentations

    CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
Deadline for Proposals Wednesday August 24, 2018!

The Central Texas Chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators is excited to invite you to share your innovative and successful ideas in the various disciplines of the public sector.

Since 2009, the Central Texas Chapter has played a key role in offering the best training and professional development available for a low cost to area public administrators. We are seeking sessions designed to share best practices and successful strategies in our community with “A Call to Action for Public Administrators” focused on services, engagement, empowerment and knowledge in leadership. We want your agency to be a part of our exciting 2018 Leadership Summit because we know you and your agency have insight, strategies, tactics and timely information with relevant content that will be useful to our attendees.

For topic selection, priority will be given to sessions with NFBPA members as lead or co-presenters. We are interested in workshop content that will energize professionals at all levels to seek their best selves. Sales pitches or presentations by individuals or companies that are designed to feature and promote specific products and services are not in line with the goals of NFBPA or the purpose of the Leadership Summit.

The deadline for submitting session proposals is Wednesday, August 24 2018. Selected presenters will be notified no later than September 7th. Submissions should clearly describe session content. We look forward to hearing from you.

Presentation topics should be emailed to Conference Program Committee – Workshop Topics. If there are any questions, please email us at NFBPA Central Texas - Leadership Summit or contact Marcia Brooks at 512-974-5073.
